FLUSH

Hey blogger followers. The book I am about to describe is called Flush. It is by Carl Hiaasen (a-MA-zing author who likes Florida). So this guy Noah- his dad is kind of a rebel. He is a good guy though, he only does things that are bad for a good cause. So he sinks this guys boat because the guy, named Dusty, is dumping poop into the Florida Keys. Noah's dad is now in jail, and the main character is Noah and his sister Abby. They are now trying to bust Dusty's guts and get the word out that he is a very illegal man. They try really hard, and when Noah's dad gets out of jail, Dusty's boat gets burned down and everybody thinks it was Noah's dad and he goes back to jail. This book sounds confusing but actually it's simple. do Noah and his sister bust Dusty? Do they get help? If u read this book, you WILL find out. Dun dun dun...

  4. I think Carl Hiaason is great! The three books that he wrote for young adults all have these odd, quirky environmental themes focusing on Florida.

When I lived on the boat, we always had to be careful when dumped the holding tanks for the toilets that we were well out to sea and in moving water. And you NEVER wanted to set a toe in the waters of the harbor in Charlotte Amalie (St. Thomas) because it was disgusting. Even swimming on the other side of the island was not encouraged. Ew!

I loved Hoot and Flushed, but I haven't read Scat yet.
