The book I am reading is called the Lovely Bones. It is by Alice Sebold. It takes place in 1973. The main character, Susie, gets murderded by her neighbor in a cornfield. He cut up her body; but the police found her elbow. I know pretty disgusting, right? So now Susie is narrating the story from heaven. She looks down and sees her family, but she can't communticate with them. But one time she did show her face in broken glass and her father saw her.
This book is really good. I have never read a book where the narrator is narrating from heaven. I don't even think I have ever read a book where the narrator is dead! I like it because of this asspect. I also like all the detail in this book. It has many parts where explanation is very detailed, like when Susie is explaning her heaven. My favorite part, which is also an emotional part, is when Susie's father has to tell Buckely (Linsay and Susie's little brother) that Susie is dead. Then he asks, "You mean like this?" and cups his hands over the monopoly piece that Susie usually played with. That part is when it really sinks in to her family that Susie is gone and is never coming back.

Flawless
Flawless is the sequel to Pretty Little Liars. It is by Sara Shepard. As you can see, I love this series. They are very good. This book is about all the troubles that are continuing from the first book. But in this book, A is ruder and threatens them saying if you do do this, (bla bla) , I will tell your secret. Now A says this to all four of them because they all have secrets that they keep even from each other. And A knows each and every one of them.
I like this book because there is a lot of drama. It is very well written and has many action/drama packed events that take place. I also like how there are many turns of events, such as the person who Aria, Emily, Spencer, and Hannah think is Ali's killer. Especially when one of them fall for him! You should read this book and the first one- they are really good.

BOUNCE
The book I'm doing is called Bounce. It's about this girl, Evyn, who's mom died when she was two. Now her dad, her brother, and her live in Maine and everybody's happy. But then her dad started dating a woman who lives in boston. Then while they were at a restaurant, he tells Evyn and her brother Mackey have to move to Boston. And their new stepmother has six kids!! And, she is pregnant from Evyn's father, who's name is Birdie. I love this book because it seems like an actual story. I feel that something like this would actually happen to someone. I felt bad for her because she has to move into a new house and start a new school. Her and her brother. My favorite character is Mackey because he is really funny and all he says is mphmm and humph when Evyn tries to talk to him. It's really funny.

FLUSH
Hey blogger followers. The book I am about to describe is called Flush. It is by Carl Hiaasen (a-MA-zing author who likes Florida). So this guy Noah- his dad is kind of a rebel. He is a good guy though, he only does things that are bad for a good cause. So he sinks this guys boat because the guy, named Dusty, is dumping poop into the Florida Keys. Noah's dad is now in jail, and the main character is Noah and his sister Abby. They are now trying to bust Dusty's guts and get the word out that he is a very illegal man. They try really hard, and when Noah's dad gets out of jail, Dusty's boat gets burned down and everybody thinks it was Noah's dad and he goes back to jail. This book sounds confusing but actually it's simple. do Noah and his sister bust Dusty? Do they get help? If u read this book, you WILL find out. Dun dun dun...

Pretty Little Liars
I LOVED the characters in this book because they were characters who had personalities that seemed really real. I keep reading it because 1. There is so much suspense and action it just keeps reeling you in, 2. It it confusing and has you asking so many questions (which is good) and 3. There are, I think, seven other books and since I liked the first one so much I will probably like the others. So I want to read those too. Many people like the ABC family TV show so I think they will probably like the books as well. I know a few girls who have read it and of those girls ALL of them have said they like or loved the book a lot. My favorite kinds of books are realistic fiction and this book is realistic fiction but it is also a mystery. I like mysteries too but I've never really been interested in them. After this book... I am. I picked this book up because my friends at camp said it was good and because I've seen a couple of episodes of the show and the plot seemed good.
